LOVE that Happy Birthday!

When I saw this Happy Birthday cut in the new catalog that goes LIVE June 1st, I was so happy!  The Stylized Birthday stamp is great, but a die cut like this allows lots of different techniques!  I'll showcase a few.  Stay tuned!
Here is a card using another stamp set I featured in a class earlier this past year.  I ended up making 4 of these, and I was quite happy with the results!

When you use the Emerald Envy for the greenery, stamp off once to give the leaves a lighter tone to enhance the flowers.

It might be difficult to see - I used the Berry Burst card stock as a mat on the Elegant Eggplant background.
The White Chalk marker is listed because I added white dots on the Happy Birthday after I took the picture.

Birthday Butterfly Revisited

 I do LOVE these cards!

They are simple and quick to put together, and are lots of fun!

I'm devastated that my favorite stamp set Gorgeous Grunge is retiring.  I'll continue to use it, but it won't be available after May 31st.

I just had to use it with Bermuda Bay for this card background, and I decided to try it with the new Berry Burst.  It's a great combination!

Customer Gifts: Crafting Forever Bookmarks Showcasing New In-Colors

I made these bookmarks a few weeks ago as gifts for my customers.  I'm very grateful for them.  As well as great friends, they are wonderful customers.

From this first pictures, you can't see the hidden piece - It's actually a double bookmark.

Here you can see the 2nd piece.  I stamped each of the new In-Colors for 2017-2019 on the bookmark in the back for easy viewing.  During our club meeting today I'll have the ladies write in the colors on the swatches.
The only color in this set of five I'm not so thrilled with is the Lemon Lime Twist.  I love lemon... as a matter of fact, it's my birthday today on our club day - and I ordered a special cake - lemon with lemon filling.  It's just that I'm not so thrilled with this color.

Birthday Card Pop-Up

Here I'm showcasing a retiring stamp and die cut set. I've used this bundle quite a big, though not as much as I should have.
You'd think, as a card maker I'd be on top of sending cards, but I'm not; but that's another story.

This is our second card for my club meeting this month.  I'm busy playing with the new oval dies I purchased recently.

The inside of this card is the best part!  I do love those pop-up cards!  I've used this die quite a few times this past year, but always as a shaker card.  This time, I decided to showcase the pop possibilities. Popibilities?  Ugh!  I'm stopping now.
There are a few pieces of the DSP that coordinate with this set.  As soon as I find it, I'll add some of the coordinating Washi tape to the inside.
